Sugurr's standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)

Zero Tolerance

Sugurr is a platform strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form. Any account involved in creating, sharing, requesting, or promoting such material — or in any attempt to harm, groom, or sexualize a minor — is permanently banned and reported to the appropriate authorities.

Keeping Minors Off the Platform

  • Every member must provide their date of birth at registration, and accounts indicating an age under 18 cannot be created.
  • A member's date of birth cannot be changed after registration.
  • Profile photos, videos, and profile text are reviewed through our moderation pipeline before they become publicly visible.
  • Any account suspected of belonging to a minor is suspended pending review and permanently removed if confirmed.

In-App Reporting

Every member profile can be reported directly in the Sugurr app and on the website. Our reporting tool includes a dedicated "Underage" report category for suspected minors, alongside categories for inappropriate content and harassment. Members can also block or hide any user. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and reports involving potential child safety concerns are prioritized ahead of all other queues.

Reporting to Authorities

When we identify CSAM or credible evidence of child exploitation, we preserve the relevant records, remove the content, terminate the account, and report the matter to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant regional and national authorities, in accordance with applicable law. We cooperate with law enforcement requests relating to child safety.
